“In Session” is a blues album recorded live for television in 1983. It was recorded at the CHCH-TV studios in Ontario, Canada, and is the only known recording of Vaughan and King playing together.
The album was originally released in 1999 and contains some short sections of banter between songs. The album consists mainly of King's instrumentation, but also includes Vaughan's “Pride and Joy”. They are accompanied by Tony Llorens (piano/organ), Gus Thornton (bass) and Michael Llorens (drums).
